Here's some info that may come in handy:
The Sight
So, what is the Sight? Well, it's a kind of power some wolves are given at birth. Although, a wolf with special powers would be thought to have been wowed upon is instead kind of shunned. Wolves with the Sight are usually cast out of their packs, thought of as some sort of monster.
The sight powers are:
- Seeing through the eyes of birds
- Seeing past, present and future
- Reading/ controling minds
When a wolf with the Sight sees through the eyes of birds, the wolf basically sees what a certain bird is seeing. This is why most Sight wolves have a bird companion (ex. Morgra and Kraar, the raven).
To see past, present and future, the Sight wolf must stare at some form of water, and they will see images. Most wolves prefer not to do this in fear they will see past events that they don't want to see again. Or they fear they will see some terrible future.
Controling and reading minds cannot be done unless the Summoning Howl is preformed to release the Searchers (undead ghostly wolves). Only then will the final power of the Sight be able to be done.
The Prophecy
A she-cub is whelped with a coat that is white. And a human child stolen to suckle the Sight, From a place where injustice was secrectly done, Then the Marked One is here and the legend begun, When Wolfbane is dreamt of with terror and dread, And untamed are tamed, prepare for the dead. For the Shape Changer's pact with the birds shall come true, When the blood of the Varg blends with Man in the dew, As the Searchers are tempted, who hunger and prowl, Down the Pathways of Death, by summoning howl.
Then the third of the powers will be fleshed on the bone, And the Searchers tempt nature to prey on its own, With blood at the alter, the Vision shall come When the eye of the moon is as round as the sun. In the citadel raised by lords of before, The stone twins await - both power and the law. The past and future shall finally show, To the wounded, the secret the Lera must know, And all shall be witness to that which will be, In the mind of the Man Varg, then none shall be free.
And only a family both loving and true, May conquer the evil, so ancient, so new. As they fight to uncover what secrets they share And behold in their journey how painful is care.
Their faith shall be tried by the markers of life, Beware the Betrayer, whose meaning is strife. For who shall divine, in the dead of the night, The lies from the truth, the darkness from light? Like cry of the scavenger, torn through the air, A courange is needed, as deep as despair.
Note: this is not the site plot. This is from the book, and since this site is suppose to happen after the book, this cannot happen.
